We are now accepting submissions for the logo for the t-shirts/hoodies.

Running with Angels 5K Run/Walk

In Support of Women’s and Children’s Services Angel Watch Program

at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center,

Oren Community Hospital and American Fork Hospital

Saturday, May 19, 2012
Race begins at 8 a.m.
Thanksgiving Point Gardens
Lehi, Utah
Registration Fee
•    $20 through May 5th
•    $15 children under 14 through May 5th
•    $30 for all ages thereafter until slots are full
•    $10 per bib “In Honor or Memory of” a friend or loved one (optional)
•    Come enjoy a run/walk through the beautiful gardens at Thanksgiving Point. Start/Finish line will be in the parking lot near the Children’s Garden entrance.
Registration includes T-shirt, water bottle, food and drinks at the finish, and
giveaways. Although times will be recorded and posted, medals will be given only for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall. All participants over the age of two should be registered and wearing a bib number. Strollers are allowed.

Due to all of the recent generous blanket donations, we are currently not in need of blankets.

We do, however, need gowns in all sizes – especially boy small and x-small.

Christmas Box Angel Statue Ceremony

On December 6th of each year, a candlelight healing ceremony is held at the base of the Christmas Box Angel monument. After a few remarks, a moment of silence, and a musical number, those who attend are invited to place a flower at the base of the statue.

There is a ceremony held at the Salt Lake City Cemetery at 7 p.m. at 200 “N” Street. The Christmas Box Angel Statue is located at 340 North “N” Street.

A ceremony will also be held at Evergreen Memorial Park in Ogden
just north of 2nd and Monroe at 6 p.m.

The Christmas Box Angel monuments are located throughout the United States to provide hope and healing to all those who have experienced the death of a child.

Walk to Remember 2011

On Saturday October 15th 2011,
Utah Share honored the lives of more than 200 babies
with a walk around the park, a ceremony and a balloon release.

Utah Share’s Annual “Walk to Remember.”

New Gown Pattern Now Available Online

 The Kimono style gowns that we have started using at Utah Share are now available online.  The patterns are available in 3 sizes.  Not only do we have the patterns available online, there are also basic instructions, helpful hints, and a video tutorial.

We are in need of quart and gallon size ziplock bags to put gown packets together in, cute ribbon for box decorating memory boxes and hair bows.

 On Thursday July 7th our meeting topic is “Helping Surviving Children.”

Children are welcome and encouraged to attend.

We will be helping children express their emotions and give them some ideas about how to help them through their own grieving process. We will also have some information for parents on how to help children cope with the death of a loved one.
