Annual Events

Utah Share hosts several annual events throughout the year to remember and honor our babies. Information about upcoming events can be found on the website and newsletter, with reminders posted on the Utah Share Facebook pages.

Craft Nights
Twice a year, we hold a craft night where parents can make something special in memory of their baby. Craft nights are held near Mother’s Day and Christmas.

Summer Social
Each summer Share hosts a potluck picnic for families touched by a pregnancy or infant loss. Games, activities, and yummy food provide an opportunity for socializing with other families outside of a support meeting setting.

Walk to Remember
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month, with October 15th being Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. Utah Share takes part in recognizing this month by holding a Walk to Remember, where “we walk the steps they will never take”. The event includes a short program and memorial walk, and culminates with a balloon release while the names of babies gone too soon are read.

Additional Events
While not hosted by Utah Share, there are several additional events throughout the year that we will keep you informed of via the website, newsletter, and Facebook page.  These include the October 15th Wave of Light, the annual Christmas Box ceremony, the Running with Angels event, the Race for Grief, and others.
